This wonderful Scottish Sterling Silver 8 pointed brooch is Circa 1940.
The beautiful piece boasts a 5ct Citrine in the centre with beautiful workmanship that surrounds it.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.
On the reverse a “IONA” hallmark can be seen which represents Alexander Ritchie’s renowned Iona Celtic Arts pieces.
The brooch looks beautiful when worn, a wonderful Scottish piece that deserves to be treasured.
